The mandate
The Classique internationale de canots de la Mauricie is the oldest marathon canoe race in North America. Founded in 1934, it brings teams from Canada, the United States and around the world to the Saint-Maurice River every early September. Behind the event: a small permanent team and dozens of volunteers.
An event of this scale produces a surprising amount of material: a website to keep current all year, more than 250 registrations to manage, official documents in both languages, visuals for every announcement, race equipment to order and track. All of it sits on top of a team that already has a race to run. Since 2024, Nova Solaris has carried that entire side of the mandate.
